Very often the career of an accountant is associated with a tedious process of book-keeping which was exactly the main activity of any accountant just not long ago. Nowadays the essence of the profession has changed greatly due to the fast-paced and rapid development of the technologies. However, even if computers perform almost all book-keeping work, the role of an accountant still remains of paramount importance. You can train for a career of an accountant in a business or government agency. A bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement to become an accountant. If you want to become a CPA (certificated public accountant), you will need to meet an experience and educational requirements and pass a certification exam.
